The Georgian Anti-Doping and Education Agency (GADCEA) operates in accordance with the legislation of Georgia, the World Anti-Doping Code, and the International Standards established by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).

Within its legally mandated authority, GADCEA is responsible for the development, coordination, monitoring, and implementation of the National Anti-Doping Program, as well as for managing and addressing potential anti-doping rule violations within its jurisdiction.

GADCEA serves as the authority responsible for all aspects of doping control planning and implementation. The Agency's responsibilities further include the investigation of potential anti-doping rule violations, including the involvement of athlete support personnel and other individuals in each case, the administration of results management procedures, and the monitoring of the proper enforcement of sanctions.

In addition, the Agency is responsible for the planning, development, and delivery of anti-doping education programs and for promoting the values of clean sport in accordance with the requirements of the International Standard for Education issued by WADA.
